April Cottage is only a 5 minute stroll from Wells Quay and near to all the local amenities, perfect for a memorable seaside retreat.

The award-winning Wells Crab House is just two minutes walk from the cottage. A wide range of restaurants and pubs are only a short walk away and feature enticing menus packed with local produce.

Of course, no visit to Wells is complete without traditional Fish & Chips. Plattens and French’s Fish Shop can be found on the Quay, where it’s something of a local tradition to sit and enjoy your chips. Mind the cheeky seagulls though!

Holkham Hall with its extensive parkland and beach is within walking or cycling distance. A short train ride will take you to the pretty village of Walsingham with its Abbey. Sandringham is a little further afield but well worth a visit. The seaside resorts of the North Norfolk coast from Kings Lynn to Cromer are accessible by a regular bus service. The county seat of Norwich with its castle, picturesque lanes and market is just an hour away by car.
